Abstract

Smanjena visina alveolarnog grebena nastala zbog resorpcije kosti i pneumatizacije maksilarnog sinusa godinama se uspješno rješava pomoću operativnog zahvata podizanja dna maksilarnog sinusa. Dobro postavljena indikacija smanjuje intraoperativne i postoperativne komplikacije.
Danas postoji vrhunska dijagnostika poput CBCT-a (eng. cone beam computer tomography) koja nam uvelike olakšava planiranje kirurškog zahvata i samo postavljanje implantata. Postoji mnogo tehnika podizanja dna sinusa, iako se vrlo često koristi modificirana tehnika bočnog pristupa koju je opisao Tatum.
Iskustvo terapeuta i korištenje novih tehnika i saznanja olakšava rad i zadovoljava pacijentove želje.
Podizanje dna maksilarnog sinusa pouzdana je metoda kojom se proširuje mogućnost implanto-protetskih rješenja i kvalitetnija životna aktivnost.

Abstract (english)

The reduced height of the alveolar ridge due to the bone resorption and pneumatization of the maxillary sinus has been successfully solved by maxillary sinus lift surgery for years.
An indication well set reduces intraoperative and postoperative complications. Today, there is a top quality diagnostics method like CBCT - (cone beam computer tomography), which greatly facilitates the planning of surgery and placing of implant itself. There are many techniques of the sinus lift, although a modified lateral approach technique described by Tatum is used very often.
Experience of therapists and the use of new techniques and knowledge make the work easier and also meet the patient's wishes.
Maxillary sinus lift is a reliable method which extends the range of implant-prosthetic solutions and improves the quality of life activity.
