Abstract

Protetski nadomjesci terapijsko su sredstvo čija je svrha uspostavljanje i održavanje pravilne oralne funkcije i estetskog izgleda. Vrlo je važno da protetski nadomjesci savršeno priliježu na pripremljene zube pa se stoga stanje iz usta pacijenta mora savršeno prenijeti na model na kojem će se izrađivati sam nadomjestak. U tu se svrhu koriste otisni materijali, a danas je u sve široj
primjeni i digitalna metoda otiskivanja, odnosno skeniranja. Otisni materijali prije svega moraju biti precizni, elastični, dimenzijski stabilni, netoksični i kompatibilni sa sadrom te moraju pružati mogućnost dezinfekcije. Dijele se na elastične i neelastične, no danas se kao otisni materijali koriste samo elastični u koje se ubrajaju sintetički elastomeri i hidrokoloidi. Otisni postupci dijele se na jednovremene i dvovremene, a prvi je korak u izradi otiska odabir adekvatne žlice kojom se materijal unosi u usta pacijenta. Ako se jednovremeni otisni postupak provodi individualnom žlicom, koristi se jedan materijal, a ako se provodi konfekcijskom
žlicom, koriste se dva materijala različite konzistencije. Dvovremeni otisni postupci uvijek se provode s dvama materijalima različite konzistencije u dvama navratima, a razlikuju se po tome što se prvi otisak kod otiska dopunjavanja uzima prije brušenja zuba, a kod korekturnog otiska nakon njihova brušenja. Digitalna metoda otiskivanja provodi se intraoralnim skenerom koji podatke iz usta pacijenta pretvara u digitalni trodimenzionalni oblik koji se zatim obrađuje u računalnom programu. Glavna je prednost ove metode brzina skeniranja i izrade nadomjeska, dok je glavni nedostatak visoka cijena opreme.

Abstract (english)

Prosthetic restorations are therapeutic agents whose purpose is to establish and maintain proper oral function and aesthetic appearance. Prosthetic restorations must fit perfectly on the prepared teeth. Therefore, the situation in the patient's mouth must be transferred perfectly to the model on which the prosthesis will be made. Impression materials are used for this purpose and today the digital impression technique, i.e. scanning, is being used more and more. First of all, impression materials must be precise, elastic, dimensionally stable, non-toxic, compatible with plaster and they must provide the possibility of disinfection. They are divided into elastic and inelastic, but today only elastic materials, which include synthetic elastomers and hydrocolloids, are used as impression materials. Impression techniques are divided into one-stage and two-stage methods. The first step is to select an adequate stock tray with which the material is introduced into the patient's mouth. If the one-stage impression method is carried out with an individual stock tray, one material is used, and if it is carried out with a metal stock tray, two materials of different consistency are used. Two-stage impression procedures are always performed with two materials of different consistency on two occasions, and they differ in that the first impression in the case of the refill impression method is taken before preparing the teeth, and in the case of the correction impression after preparing. The digital impression method is performed by an intraoral scanner, which converts the data from the patient's mouth into a digital three-dimensional form which is then processed by computer software. The main advantage of this method is the speed of scanning and making a prosthetic restoration, whereas the main disadvantage is the high cost of the equipment.
