Abstract
Istraživanja pokazuju da je čak 2/3 ukupne svjetske populacije imalo zdravstvenih poteškoća koje se očituju kao bol u leđima. Stomatološki rad tijekom dugogodišnje prakse dovodi do profesionalnih oboljenja. To se posebno odnosi na lumbosakralni dio kralježnice koji je jedan od najopterećenijih,a ujedno i najosjetljivijih dijelova lokomotornog sustava. Opterećenje koje nastaje je statičke prirode i može uzrokovati pojavu bolova u leđima. Zbog toga se stomatolozima preporučuje da od početka svoje prakse počnu sa provođenjem preventivnih mjera. One možda neće u potpunosti spriječiti pojavu različitih deformacija i bolova, ali će ih svesti na najmanju moguću mjeru.
Abstract (english)
Studies have shown that 2/3 of world population have had health difficulties, presenting as back pain. Long-term dental practice causes professional illnesses. That is specially refered to lumbosacral spine, which is one of the most stressed, and also the most vulnerable parts of locomotor system. Resulted tension is of statical nature, and can cause back pain to occur. That is why it is recomended for dentists to start taking steps in preventing back pain from the very beginning of their careers. This may not completely prevent various deformities and pain to occur, but it can minimise them as possible.
