skupina. To su: funkcionalno ograničenje, fizička bol, psihološka nemogućnost, fizička
nemogućnost, psihološka nelagoda, društvena nemogućnost i hendikep.
Zagrebu.
Prikupljeni podatci uneseni su u program Microsoft Excel 2013. u obliku baze podataka, a
Provedenim
testom nije potvrđena statistički značajna razlika u rezultatima OHIP-14 ankete među
pacijentima različitih zavoda. |
Abstract (english) | The OHIP-14 or the Oral Health Impact Profile is a questionnaire designed to assess the
impact of oral health on an individual's quality of life. Oral health is a broad term that, in
addition to the health of the oral cavity and the absence of disease, also includes various
functions of the oral cavity that have an impact on physical, psychological, and social areas of
an individual's life. The abbreviated version of the OHIP questionnaire used in this research
consists of 14 questions divided into 7 groups which include the following: functional
limitation, physical pain, psychological disability, physical disability, psychological
discomfort, social disability, and handicap. These can be further divided into the 3 abovementioned aspects in which oral health, or the lack thereof, can affect the quality of life, i.e.,
its physical, psychological, and social factor.
The purpose of this research was the analysis of the OHIP-14 survey which was used to
investigate whether there was a difference in the survey results among patients from different
departments of the School of Dental Medicine at University of Zagreb. The survey itself was
anonymous and voluntary. A total of 120 patients participated in the survey, 20 from each of
the following departments: Oral Medicine, Removable Prosthodontics, Fixed Prosthodontics,
Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry, Periodontology and Oral Surgery.
The collected data were entered into the Microsoft Excel 2013 programme in a database form.
The statistical comparison was performed using the Kruskal-Wallis Test for Independent
Samples. The conducted test did not point to a statistically significant difference in the OHIP14 survey results among patients from different departments. |
