Abstract

Računalno vođena implantologija uz digitalizaciju implantoloških postupaka rapidno se razvija i polako zamjenjuje tradicionalne tehnike. Zbog razvoja tehnologije dolazi do promjene u svim aspektima implantološke terapije, od početne faze postavljanja plana terapije i inicijalne dijagnoze, do samog čina postave implantata i odgovarajućeg protetskog nadomjestka. Smatra se da
digitalizacija dentalne implantologije nosi sa sobom brojne prednosti kao što su smanjenje vremena trajanja terapije, smanjenje broja dolazaka pacijenta u ordinaciju, mogućnost planiranja terapije po principu protetski vođene implantologije te precizniji i sigurniji kirurški postupak. Osim prednosti, digitalna implantologija ima i određene mane kao što su devijacije u položaju planirane i krajnje pozicije implantata, potreba za dodatnom edukacijom operatera te veći financijski troškovi za pacijenta. Nova implantološka tehnologija se još uvijek ne smatra toliko preciznom da bi u potpunosti potisnula tradicionalne tehnike. Međutim, logično je zaključiti da će se u skorijoj budućnosti tehnologija još više razvijati te tako i unaprijediti dentalnu implantološku terapiju.

Abstract (english)

omputer-assisted implant dentistry is rapidly evolving with the digitization of implant procedures, slowly replacing traditional techniques. As technology evolves, all aspects of implant therapy are changing, from the initial phase of determining the treatment plan and initial diagnosis to the actual act of implant placement and corresponding prosthetic replacement. It is believed that the digitization of dental implantology will bring many benefits, such as shortening the duration of therapy, reducing the number of patient visits to the office, the ability to plan therapy based on the principle of prosthetic implantology, and a more precise and safer surgical procedure. In addition to the advantages, digital implantology also has certain disadvantages such as deviations in the position of the planned and final position of the implant, the need for additional training of the surgeon and higher financial costs for the patient. The new implant technology is not yet considered
so precise that it could completely displace traditional techniques. However, it is logical that the technology will develop even further in the near future and thus improve dental implant therapy.
