Abstract

Napredak u tehnologiji posljednjih desetljeća pruža terapeutima više opcija u svrhu nadoknade izgubljenih zubi. Osim proteza i mostova, često terapijsko sredstvo postaju dentalni implantati. Protetski vođena implantoprotetska terapija noviji je koncept u implantoprotetici. Ključ je koncepta detaljno planiranje protetskog rada prije ugradnje implantata koju slijedi postava implantata u skladu s planiranim budućim protetskim radom. Takav pristup omogućuje bolju predvidljivost položaja i funkcije nadomjestka, smanjuje mogućnost komplikacija te skraćuje pacijentovu prilagodbu na protetski nadomjestak. Uz računalno vođeno postavljanje implantata koristi se softver koji planira idealni smještaj implantata s obzirom na položaj i funkciju budućeg nadomjestka. Iako je kod ovog koncepta smanjen broj komplikacija, one ipak postoje, a mogu se podijeliti na komplikacije vezane uz postavu implantata i komplikacije vezane uz izradu nadomjestka. Kirurške se komplikacije mogu dogoditi tijekom operativnog zahvata i nakon njega, a protetske tijekom nošenja privremenog i definitivnog protetskog rada.

Abstract (english)

Advances in technology in recent decades have provided therapists with more options for compensating for the lost teeth. In addition to dentures and bridges, dental implants are often therapeutic agent. Prosthetically driven implantology is a novel concept in implant prosthetics. The key to the concept is detailed planning of the prosthetic work before the implant placement, followed by the implant placement in accordance with the planned future prosthetic work. Such an approach enables better predictability of the position and function of the prosthesis, reduces the possibility of complications, and shortens the patient’s adjustment to the prosthetic replacement. In addition to computer-guided implant placement, software is used that plans the ideal placement of the implant with respect to the position and function of the future work. Although the number of complications has been reduced with this concept, they still exist, and can be divided into complications related to the implant placement and complications related to the production of a prosthetic work. Surgical complications can occur during and after the surgery, and prosthetic complications during the wearing of temporary and definitive prosthetic work.
