Abstract

Primjena digitalne tehnologije u dentalnoj implantologiji donosi brojne prednosti i poboljšanja. Upotreba CBCT-a (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) omogućuje preciznu trodimenzionalnu dijagnostiku i planiranje, pružajući detaljan prikaz anatomskih struktura. Intraoralnim skeniranjem zamjenjeni su konvencionalni otisci, što nudi brže, ugodnije i točnije rezultate. CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/ Computer Aided Manufacturing) sustavi omogućuju planiranje budućeg protetskog nadomjestka, kao i položaj dentalnog implantata te izradu kirurških šablona. Tehnike računalno vođene implantologije omogućuju kirurško postavljanje implantata uz minimalnu invazivnost, korištenjem kirurške šablone i navigacijskih sustava. Uporaba novih digitalnih tehnologija rezultira poboljšanom preciznošću, smanjenim rizicima i boljim ishodima za pacijenta.

Abstract (english)

The application of digital technology in dental implantology brings numerous advantages and improvements. The use of CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) enables precise three dimensional diagnostics and planning, providing a detailed representation of anatomical structures. Intraoral scanning has replaced conventional impressions, offering faster, more
comfortable and more accurate results. CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) systems enable planning future prosthetic replacement, as well as the position of the dental implant and the creation of surgical templates. The techniques of computer-guided implantology enable surgical placement of implants with minimal invasiveness, using surgical
templates and navigation systems. The use of new digital technologies results in improved precision, reduced risks and better outcomes for the patient.
