Abstract

Cirkonijev oksid kao materijal izbora u izradi suprastruktura u implantoprotetici je primjenjiv kao strukturni materijal dentalnih mostova, krunica, nadogradnji i implantata, ponajviše zbog svoje estetike, visoke otpornosti na lom i biokompatibilnosti.
Razumijevanje osnovnih svojstava, ali i procesa oštećenja cirkonijevog oksida omogućuje kontinuirani razvoj estetskijih i strukturalno trajnijih inačica. Keramički materijali predstavljaju važan gradivni materijal koji se proučava u znanosti o dentalnim biomaterijalima. Među cjelokupnom dentalnom keramikom, silikatnom i oksidnom, cirkonijev oksid je dokazan kao dentalni biomaterijal i pretežno prvi izbor u suvremenoj restaurativnoj dentalnoj medicini. Međutim, klinički uspjeh restaurativne dentalne medicine mora uzeti u obzir prianjanje na različite supstrate, što predstavlja veliki izazov istraživanju i razvoju cirkonijevog oksida u dentalnoj medicini.

Abstract (english)

Zirconium oxide as the material of choice in the manufacturing suprastructures in dental implant prosthetics is used as a structural material for dental bridges, crowns, extensions, and implants, primarily due to its aesthetics, structural durability and
biocompatibility. Understanding the basic properties, as well as the damage process of zirconium oxide, enables the continuous development of more aesthetic and structurally durable versions. Ceramics represent an important part material studied as part of building materials studied as part of the science of dental biomaterials. Among all dental ceramics, including both, silicate and oxide, zirconium oxide has been proven to be a dental biomaterial and the material of choice in modern restorative dental medicine. However, the clinical success of restorative dental medicine consider adhesion to different substrates, which presents a significant challenge to the research and development of zirconium oxide in dental medicine.
