Abstract

Gubitak zuba predstavlja estetski i funkcijski problem za svakog pojednica i kao takav izazov je za terapeuta. Postizanje zadovoljavajuće estetike prilikom gubitka zuba u fronti i odgovarajuće funkcije ukoliko se radi o stražnjem zubu, glavni je zadatak
svakoga terapijskog sredstva. Planiranje i izrada protetskog rada ovise o mjestu izgubljenog zuba, znanju i mogućnostima terapeuta, ali i o samom pojedincu, njegovoj motivaciji i financijskim mogućnostima. Parodontološki status, stupanj oralne higijene, rizik od nastanka karijesa, te osobni izbor pacijenta nikako ne smiju biti zanemareni. Moderna stomatologija prednost u terapiji prilikom nedostatka jednog zuba daje implantoprotetskoj terapiji, osobito kod mladih ljudi kada se želi izbjeći brušenje intaktnih vitalnih susjednih zubi. Ukoliko pacijent nije kandidat za implantološku terapiju, pristupa se konvencionalnim metodama izrade mosta. Najčešće se radi o metalokeramičkom mostu ili potpuno keramičkom mostu, ali i akrilatni mostovi također mogu biti sredstvo izbora u prednjem dijelu usne šupljine. Temeljna konstrukcija svakog protetskog rada mora zadovoljiti žvačno opterećenje svojim mehaničkim svojstvima, a obložni materijal primarno estetskim ali i mehaničkim. Temeljem rečenog u radu je napravljen pregled svih dostupnih protetskih rješenja.

Abstract (english)

The loss of a tooth is considered to be an aesthetic and a functional problem for each individual and as such it represents a challenge for each therapist.The main task of every therapeutic tool is achieving satisfactory aesthetic in the loss of teeth in the front and the corresponding function in case of a back tooth. Planning and developing itself depend on the position of the lost tooth as well as the individual himself, his motivation and his financial resources. The periodontal status, level of oral hygiene, the risk of caries and the personal choice of the patient could not possibly be ignored. Modern dentistry gives many advantages to implantoprosthetic therapy, especially to young people who often want to avoid a longlasting preparation of intact, vital, adjecent teeth. If the patient is not a candidate for the implant therapy, a therapist applies another prosthodonthics appliances. There is usually a metal–ceramic bridge or full ceramic bridge, but the resin bridges can also be the instrument of choice Constructive material for making crowns or bridges must correspond their aesthetic, and functional properties. Most often this was achieved by metal-ceramics, glass-ceramics and zirconium-oxide ceramics, but acrylics also still remains.
