Abstract

Dilema svakog zubnog tehničara i stomatologa protetičara danas je postava zubi u cilju postizanja estetskog ali i funkcijskog sklada budućeg protetskog nadomjestka. Razlog tome leži u velikoj važnosti međusobnog položaja prirodnih zuba u fiksno-mobilnim protetskim nadomjescima u svim funkcijskim kretnjama mandibule. Kroz povijest su se izmjenjivale različite teorije i koncepcije okluzije u izradbi protetskih radova. Koncepcije okluzije definiraju se kao specifični zubni dodiri koji se zbivaju u tijeku svih mandibularnih kretnji. Do danas su se zadržale tri osnovne koncepcije okluzije koji opisuju položaje u kojima zubi trebaju biti u različitim funkcijskim položajima mandibule. To su:
- bilateralna uravnotežene okluzija
- umilateralna uravnotežena okluzija ili grupna funkcija
- očnjakom vođena okluzija ili uzajamno zaštićena okluzija

Abstract (english)

Nowdays dilemma of every dentist and dental tecnician is a placement of teeth in order to accomplish esthetic but also functional harmonu of the future prosthesis. A reason to that lies in a great importance of mutual position of natural teeth in fixedmoveable dentures in all fuctional mandibular movements. During the past there have been exchanged various diferent theories and concepts of occlusion in fabrication of dental restorations. The concepts of occlusion are defined as special dental contacts that occur during all of the mandibular movements. By now there are three recognized concepts that describe the manner in which teeth should not contact in the various functional positions of the mandibule which are:
 Bilateral balanced occlusion
 Unilateral balanced occlusion or group function
 Mutually protected occlusion or canineprotected occlusion
