Abstract

Cilj ovog rada bio je napraviti preglednu studiju najučestalijeg dentalnog nalaza populacije u dobi od 16 do 30 godina. Istraživanje je provedeno među pacijentima na području Zagrebačke županije i grada Zagreba, koji su u razdoblju od 2000. do 2005. godine koristili primarnu zdravstvenu zaštitu u Zavodu za dentalnu antropologiju Stomatološkog fakulteta, Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.
Istraživanje je provedeno pregledom 100 ortopantomograma 100 pacijenata, od kojih je 48 bilo ženskog i 42 muškog spola. 44% pacijenata bilo je u dobi od 16 do 25 godina, a 46% u dobi od 26 do 30 godina. Rezultati su pokazali da su vrijednosti udjela dentalnih obilježja u žena od 4% do 14% niže od istih u muškaraca. Također su pokazali da su vrijednosti udjela dobne skupine od 26 do 30 godina značajno više, čak od 36% do 86%, od dobne skupine od 16 do 25 godina. Ukupni KEP-indeks u populaciji od 16 do 30 godina iznosi 10,67 što označava visok stupanj karioznosti.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to assess the most common dental findings in the population between the ages of 16 and 30. Research was carried out among patients living in the County of the City of Zagreb and County of Zagreb, who were treated
from 2000 to 2005, at the Department of Dental Anthropology, School of Dentistry, University of Zagreb. Research was carried out by examining 100 orthopantomograms from patients of both genders, out of which 48 were female and 42 male. These
orthopantomograms were also divided into two age groups: one from 16 to 25, the other from 26 to 30 years of age. The results have shown that women have a 4% to 14% lower rate of dental features than men do. The differences between the two age groups vary from 36% to 86%, i.e. rates for the first age group are significantly lower than for the second group. DMFT (decayed, D, missing, M, filled, F, tooth, T) for the population between 16 and 30 years of age is high, with the value of 10,67.
