Abstract

Ovaj rad uključuje operacije koje su obavljene od 01.siječnja 1999. godine do 31.prosinca 2003. godine na Kliničkom zavodu za oralnu kirurgiju KB Dubrava pod kliničkom dijagnozom radikularne ciste. Htjeli smo ustanoviti podudarnost kliničke i patohistološke dijagnoze radikularne ciste jer nas klinički izgled ciste ponekad udalji od prave dijagnoze. Od 595 klinički dijagnosticiranih cista, 493 je poslano na patohistološku analizu i uključeno je u ovaj rad. Podudarnost kliničke i patohistološke dijagnoze cista iznosi 71%.
U 25% slučajeva patohistološki se radilo o granulacijskom tkivu, dok su ostale dijagnoze bile zastupljene u 4% slučajeva. U jednom se slučaju klinički benigna lezija nakon patohistološke analize pokazala malignom

Abstract (english)

This study includes operations that were performed from 1 January 1999 to 31 December 2003 at the Clinical Department of Oral Surgery KB Dubrava under clinical diagnosis of radicular cyst. The aim was to observe the correlation between the clinical and the histopathological diagnosis of radicular cyst since the clinical appearance of the cyst may sometimes be misleading about the real nature of the disease. 493 out of 595 clinically diagnosed radicular cyst were sent to histopatological examination and classified by this study. 71 per cent of the sample were found to be cysts, 25 per cent were granulomas, and 4 per cent other disorders. There was one case of clinically benign cyst lesion found malignant after patohistological examination.
