Abstract

CEKA pričvrstci primjenjuju se kao sveza fiksnih protetskih nadomjestaka i kao sredstvo retencije za potpune i djelomične proteze. Također se primjenjuju za rješavanje problema neparalelnosti kada zubi nosači imaju različite smjerove uvođenja. Sastoje se od dva dijela, matrice i patrice, koji čine precizan, ali odvojiv zglob. Dva osnovna tipa pričvrstaka su rigidni i rezilijentni. Rigidni ne dopuštaju kretnju između elemenata zgloba. Rezilijentni dopuštaju kretnju između matrice i patrice pod opterećenjem pa imaju ulogu umanjivanja stresnog opterećenja. Rigidni se primjenjuju na umetnutim sedlima, a rezilijentni na produženim. Topografska
klasifikacija dijeli pričvrstke u četiri skupine: ekstrakoronarni, intrakonorarni, supraradikularni i interdentalni. CEKA pričvrstci su stabilniji i retentivniji od konvencionalnih sredstava i zbog toga se lakše toleriraju od strane pacijenata. Na taj način primjena ovih
pričvrstaka može umanjiti pacijentovu odbojnost prema mobilnim protetskim radovima. CEKA pričvrstcima služimo se uz implatante u problemima neparalelnosti nosača i gubitka kosti. To ih čini važnim sredstvom retencije u sve popularnijoj implantološkoj terapiji.

Abstract (english)

CEKA attachments are used as connectors in fixed patrial denture construction and to retain removable complete and patrial dentures. They are also used to overcome alignment problems were abutments have differing paths of withdrawal. They consist of two halves, a matrix and a patrix, that form precise but separable joint. There are two main types of attachments. With the rigid attachment no movement is possible between the parts. The resilient attachment allows movement to take place between the matrix and the patrix when fully seated, thus having a stress-breaking function. Rigid attachments are used for bounded saddle situations and resilient for free-end saddles. Four main classes of attachments are: extracoronal, intracoronal, anchros and bars. CEKA attachments are more stable and retentive than conventional dentures and for that reasons are better tolerated. For that reason this attachments can transform patients´ attitudes to the wearing removable prostheses. CEKA attachments can overmore problems of alignment and excessive loss of tissue, both of which are recurring problems in implant work. This makes them invaluable tools in the increasingly popular field of implantology.
