Abstract

Punjenje kanala je završna faza endodontskog postupka. Svrha punjenja je osigurati trajno brtvljenje apeksnog otvora, te lateralnih i akcesornih kanala što onemogućava reinfekciju. Od polutvrdih punila koriste se gutaperka i resilion štapići. Cementi mogu biti temeljeni na kalcijevom hidroksidu, cinkoksideugenolu, staklenom ionomeru, umjetnim smolama i silikonu. More korijenskih kanala razvijene su s ciljem postizanja homogenijeg i kompaktnijeg punjenja, nego što je to bilo moguće hladnom lateralnom kondenzacijom. U termoplastične tehnike ubrajamo toplu lateralnu kondenzaciju, tehniku ultrazvučne kondenzacije gutaperke, vruću vertikalnu kondenzaciju, tehniku kontinuiranog vala, injekcijske tehnike i tehnike s nosačem. Svaka tehnika ima svoje kliničke indikacije i kontraindikacije. Abstract (english)

Rooth canal filling is the final step of an endodontic treatment. The aim of filling the canal is to secure permanent sealing of the apical foramen, lateral and accessory canals. That prevents reinfection of the canal. There are gutta-percha and resilion points presented as core materials used for sealing. The sealers being used are based on calcium hydroxide, zync-oxide-eugenol, glass-ionomer, resin and silicone. There are basically two different methods of the rooth canal filling;... More cold lateral condensation technique and thermoplastic techniques. Thermoplastic techniques have been developed to secure more compact canal sealing than it could have been possible with cold lateral condensation. A few thermoplastic techniques are used: warm lateral condensation, ultrasonic compaction of gutta-percha, warm vertical condensation, continuous wave technique, injection tecniques and core carrier technique. Each technique has different indications and contraindications. No matter which technique is used, it is important that every step of endodontic treatment is done correctly since this is the only way to ensure durability of the endodontic therapy. Less
