Abstract

Cilj izrade fiksnoprotetskoga rada jest nadoknada izgubljenih žvaĉnih jedinica i uspostava narušene estetike i funkcije. U tom procesu važna je suradnja terapeuta i zubotehniĉkoga laboratorija. Terapeut pri kliniĉkom pregledu usne šupljine pacijenta postavlja indikaciju za određenu vrstu protetskoga nadomjeska te u skladu sa svojim znanjem, iskustvom i željama pacijenta, odabire i prikladni materijal. Fiksnoprotetski nadomjesci mogu biti izrađeni od metala i metalnih legura, polimernih... More materijala i keramike. Mogu se izrađivati na dva naĉina: 1. izrada osnovne konstrukcije od metala/keramike i potom estetskog obložnog materijala, 2. izrada cjelovitog nadomjeska od keramiĉkog materijala.
Osnovna se konstrukcija može izraditi lijevanjem, postupkom galvanizacije, toplo-tlaĉnim postupkom, infiltracijskom tehnikom, strojnim glodanjem i tehnikom sinteriranja. Estetski se obložni materijal kod takvih konstrukcija nanosi slojevanjem keramike i peĉenjem svakoga pojedinog sloja (opaker, dentinska i caklinska keramika). Izrada cjelovitoga nadomjeska od potpune keramike može se ostvariti glodanjem keramiĉkoga bloka do konaĉnih dimenzija ili toplo-tlaĉnim postupkom (tehnika bojenjem staklokeramike).
Konaĉna procjena odabira materijala i tehnologije zasniva se na iskustvu i znanju terapeuta, kompetencijama zubnoga tehniĉara, opremljenosti zubotehniĉkog laboratorija, higijenskim navikama pacijenta i njegovim financijskim mogućnostima. Less

Abstract (english)

A fixed partial denture is a dental therapeutical restoration used to replace edentulous area. Loss of teeth presents not only functional, but also an aesthetic defect. Restoration of the front of dental arch is primarily inspired by the aesthetic demands, while the lateral segment is inspired by the function. During the therapy, communication between dentist and dental technician is very important.
Fixed partial dentures or crowns can be fabricated from metal or metal alloys, acrylic... More material or ceramics. It can be fabricated in two different ways: 1. production of core from metal or ceramics and then aesthetic covering above the core, 2. production of whole prosthetic appliance from ceramics.
Core can be produced by casting, galvanization, hot-pressure process, slip cast, CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) and sintering technique. Aesthetic covering is made from ceramic nad each ceramic layer (opaque, dentin or enamel layer) becomes consistent on high temperature. Also, whole prosthetic appliance can be produced from ceramics in two different ways: using CAD/CAM technology or hot-pressure technique.
Success of prosthetic therapy depends on dentist's knowledge and experience, technician's abilities, dental laboratory's equipment, hygenic habits of patient and his financial possibilities. Less
